He holds a master's degree and Ph.D. in materials chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) and has collaborated with the Department of Physical Chemistry at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. Dr. Oliveira has served as an assistant and associate professor at various institutions globally and co-founded 2D Materials Pte Ltd (2DM) in 2015, where he currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). His expertise and strategic vision have propelled 2DM to the forefront of advanced graphene and nanomaterials development. Dr. Oliveira is also actively involved in shaping international standards within ISO's Technical Committee TC229, advocating for advancements in graphene and nanomaterials worldwide.
Leonardo Paraiso is a globally recognised commercial leader, entrepreneur, and technology enthusiast. As a founder of YGT Ventures, he is instrumental in driving sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership for our startups. Holding the position of senior consultant at CRU, he also spearheads consulting services catering to a diverse portfolio of companies across the metals, mining, chemicals, and fertilizer sectors on a global scale. With a wealth of experience exceeding a decade in the B2B commodities market, Leonardo has honed his analytical prowess and garnered deep-seated market insights. Armed with this expertise, he is adept at delivering bespoke solutions and strategic recommendations that drive operational expansion and spur innovation for his clients.
